Free printable Korean worksheets for beginners
Screens are great for drills, but most people remember a new alphabet faster when they write it by hand. These four one-page worksheets cover the first week of Korean: the letters, your own name, the keyboard and numbers. Each one prints on US Letter or A4, needs no sign-up and is free for personal and classroom use.
1. The 24 Hangul letters
Start with the Hangul alphabet tracing worksheet. It has all 14 consonants and 10 vowels on one page, each with its sound, a memory hint and boxes to trace and write. Do one pass a day for three days and most learners can read every basic letter.
Tip: say the sound out loud while you write. The link between hand, eye and voice is what makes the letter stick.
2. Your name in Korean
Your name is the best first word because you already know how it sounds. The Korean name tracing worksheet shows the method with one example name, broken into blocks and letters, and leaves blank grids for your own. To find your spelling, use the free name converter — it shows the standard spelling used in Korea and the common alternative.
3. The Korean keyboard
If you want to text Korean friends or comment in Korean, learn the keyboard early. The printable Korean keyboard layout shows every key with finger colors, the Shift letters and the combined vowels. Keep it next to your keyboard while you work through the free Korean typing lessons.
4. Korean numbers
Korean has two number systems. The Korean numbers worksheet puts them side by side and gives you 14 questions on prices, months and the clock, with answers. The free number converter turns any number into both forms if you get stuck.
A simple one-week plan
- Day 1–2: alphabet worksheet, one pass a day.
- Day 3: your name, three tracing rows and three free rows.
- Day 4–5: keyboard chart plus the first typing lessons.
- Day 6–7: numbers worksheet, then check yourself with the converter.
For teachers
Every worksheet is a single page, so you can print one per student. The answer keys on the numbers sheet sit at the bottom of the page — fold them under before you hand the sheet out. You can see all free pages on the printables hub.
